Research.

Alongside its products, Arcas Dynamics conducts research in neuroscience and AI architecture, and where each explains the other.

How we conduct research.

Long horizons

We pursue capabilities measured in years rather than release cycles, and accept that most of the work will not be visible until it is ready.

Disclosure on merit

A programme is described publicly when its results warrant it, and not before. We would rather say less than claim more than we can show.

Research into product

Research earns its place by what it makes possible. The results that hold up are carried into products.

Fig. 4 Chemical synapseA vesicle fuses with the membrane and releases neurotransmitter, which crosses the cleft and binds to receptors on the next cell. Repeated activity can strengthen a synapse for hours or longer.Bliss & Lømo, 1973, Journal of Physiology
